Our Healthy School

At Homefield we are committed to promoting a healthy lifestyle for all of our pupils, and our curriculum has many opportunities for our pupils to learn about the difference living a healthy lifestyle can make to the quality of their lives both now and in the future.

Children at Homefield are encouraged to eat healthily and are expected to be active in PE lessons and at playtimes. We need your help with this by ensuring that your children have healthy snacks for their playtimes, either fruit or vegetable based. Sweets should not be coming into school as the post sugar spike slump can really impact the learning and the mood of children after eating them.
